Plan to go to FC, which should give chocolate and nuts flavors. Mmmm, sounds delicious!

Ended up roasting 1.5 pounds of Columbia Tolima - Familia Gutierrez to FC. Smells great already!

Just roasted a pound of SM Nicaragua Cielo Azul to FC+. I can't wait to try it Saturday (may be Friday since I am low on my last roast!).

Just roasted a pound of India Poabs Organic Seethargundu Estate. Smells like great chocolate already!

Can't wait to try Saturday!

I may have to use some tomorrow since my roasted beans from the last batch are almost gone.

That's about 20+ roasts so far on my Hottop! Perfect as always!

The Indian Poabs was excellent. A little lighter flavor than the last batch I roasted.

Just roasted 1 pound of Brazil Cerrado Fazenda No-Name-O to about a FC/FC+ roast. Not as strong of a smell post roast. I will see how it tastes Friday and beyond!

Roasted a pound of Satpura Fold on Wednesday. Just tried it today for Father's Day. Pretty yummy stuff! I only have a pound from one of the two 1/2 pound sanplers I bought.

I love the chocolate flavors in there!

MaduroDave,

How was the Brazilian No-Name-O? I did that as my first real roast (and last, as I burned up the air crazy popper)--the reviews were that it was a bit on the weak side--not much body.

I'm new to this & I'm still feeling my way around, so I may have made it too weak, but wanted a more experienced opinion (plus the fact that I don't drink coffee, just roast it  )

I gave up on the popper and splurged for the Behmor, but have not had a chance to roast any more "no-Name-O".

Thanks,
Robert

I was not super impressed with the No-Name-O myself. My wife liked it, but she only drinks cappuccinos. It just had a different flavor that I did not enjoy quite as much. I am not quite sure how to describe it, but basically it did not have the smoothness I like or the satisfying chocolate tones I like. Many others like it, but for my taste it was not quite there.

So far, I enjoy the Satpura Fold much more.
