Hahaha, haven't been around in awhile, glad to see my old thread still going strong. :D

Anyway, I've been back on Red Dead again lately, but the new Orcs Must Die! really had me for a moment there.

Yes, I had wondered what happened to the only other person here that plays console games. I would have had Rage last Tuesday but for some reason Amazon dropped the ball and failed to ship it. Waiting to hear on what the problem is and when I can expect it. Might just cancel the order and head over to Wal Mart to get a copy. In other gaming news, picked up a used copy of MLB The Show 11. Haven't really had time to sit down and play it yet. Batman Arkham City comes out next week so looking forward to that. And then in November Konami is releasing an HD collection of Metal Gear Solid which will include the previously only PSP Metal Gear Solid :Peacewalker, MGS2 and MGS3. All in HD!!! Fall and Winter is when my gaming time increases. - Jim

You know me though, I got a PS3 and a Wii, but I'm all XBox usually. Been really enjoying Gears 3 lately and Tropico 4 comes out next week! Hooray for the gaming season!

I've two systems: a Phenom II X6 and an AMD FX 8150 which is waiting to be built. I like Bioshock (the original) Prototype (was introduced to that by a born-again christian friend who described as one word: "sexy".. she later gave more graphic details of what precisely you can do in that sandbox.) I currently own some lower key games such as Zuma's Revenge and Peggle (puzzle games for kids) and have a copy of Crysis floating around in the ether as well as Serious Sam 3:BFE (which is a joke) and COD4: MW3 (which is fun, hyper-realistic, but confusing: which grey colored clothes am I supposed to be shooting at again?).. I'm anxiously waiting for Heart of the Swarm to come out. I seriously don't have a bead on the games industry anymore.. anything else I might enjoy?

I know this thread is old, but I happened to see it by accident! :D

It seems like there aren't too many younger folks that take to roasting their own coffee. So I imagine it might be a bleak topic here.

In any case, I certainly play my share of video games. Currently I'm playing the ever-loving-crap out of Borderlands 2. Sometimes I take a break for some Madden or Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning. I suppose I favor shooters, but they tend to be a lot of video games in that genre. My favorite series of this console generation is Assassin's Creed. My god. They're fantastic!

I actually started on an NES thanks to my dad. ;) I upgraded to each generation after that!

I am with you on Borderlands2, the night it was released I made sure that I had plenty of roasted coffee on hand so I could keep the pots coming from my technivorm through the 8+ hours of gameplay we had planned :D

The game I am waiting for at the moment for my PS3 is Doom 3 : BGF Edition. Have always loved the Doom games (id is awesome) and this HD upgrade of Doom 3 also includes the original Doom and Doom 2. Can't wait for the release next week!!!

Just finished playing Sleeping Dogs (XBox 360) , good game. Tend to not play online much other then Texas Hold Em (too many kids).

Tend to like the GTA, Saint's Row kind of titles. Prefer sandbox type of gaming mostly. Also like the COD and MOH titles though they have become a bit more of the same in their new releases.

Love to sit down with a nice tall cappuccino and relax with a game now that I'm retired.
